Into the Guitar Hero void steps Rocksmith

Earlier this year publisher Activision announced the cancellation of all Guitar Hero and D.J. Hero projects leaving EA's Rockband as the most obvious rhythm based video game franchise still with a heartbeat.  Well publisher Ubisoft has decided to take the microphone centre stage with a new IP known as Rocksmith, using real guitar's as input to a video game.
